back by popular demand....
..... WHAT'S IN MY PURSE!!!
I just cleaned out my purse! It was SO junky! I had stopped carrying a bigger purse because it is just a breeding ground for clutter.
Maybe I should go back to just carrying my wallet. Anyway, here is what was inside this bag before I cleaned it out.
2 ponytail holders
9 hair clips
girl scout badges
5 pens
1 sharpie marker
3 pencils
6 $1 bills
hotel soap, lotion, mouthwash, shampoo and conditioner from my last hotel stay
1 camera battery charger
1 notebook
14 coupons
1 graduation announcement
1 picture a child in my class drew for the bride and groom
37 buttons I have found
2 lip gloss
1 plastic nickel
1 screw
7 quarters
20 pennies
9 dimes
4 nickels
1 paintbrush
2 rocks
1 broken ten bar that I am trying to get the units off of (Montessori material)

2 packs of ketchup
1 straw
1 napkin
1/2 of a sleeve of ritz crackers
1 eye shadow
1 wallet
1 fortune cookie fortune that reads: You will travel to many exotic places in your lifetime
3 bills to mail

Thursday 13: Thirteen things you might serve at a LOST series finale party
In the spirit of anyone planning a party for the LOST series finale, I have created a list of 13 things that you might want to serve. Enjoy!
1) a bucket of chicken in honor of Hurley
2) pretzels and peanut packages like you might have enjoyed pre-crash on Oceanic Flight 815 from Sydney to Los Angeles.
3) Jack Shephard's Pie (nice play on words don't ya think?)
4) CupKate Austin Cupcakes
5) Wild Boar, preferably roasting on a stick over a fire on the beach- that is, if you are able to hunt and kill one
6) Jin and Sun Dim Sum (OK, I know they are from South Korea and Dim Sum is Chinese, but it sounded cute! )
7) Ben Linus burgers
8) seafood- lots of seafood
9) Dharma Dip- bonus point if you can serve it in a dish in the shape of the Dharma symbol
10) Fish biscuits- but first lock your guest in a cage and make them push levers in a certain order to earn one.
11) Sayid Salad
12) Sawyer Ford Fried Feta
13) Papayas and other tropical fruit made into fruit salad like Charlie used to court Claire- that is before he died and before she stopped combing her hair.

garden
Everything is out of the little plant nursery and into the place where it will grow. Here are pictures of what I have growing. This water hose was a gift from sweet Charlie.
Mr. D., being the hero in every great story, installed it for me right next to the garden. I gave each plant a good watering tonight so they can all settle into their new homes nicely. Enjoy the pics!

I have two herbs growing that I have never used before - cinnamon basil and pineapple sage. They both smell incredible!

The letter of the day : B
It seemed that the letter of the day was B.
BABY
Charlie stopped in on her way out of town this morning. Here is a picture of the little lady in her hat ready to work in the garden.
Here is a picture of her showing off her cute outfit with ladybug pockets.
I love a ladybug! Luckily we found her a little candy money to put in her pockets. She kept one pocketful but gave the other back to me to buy Mr. D. some candy with.
BABY FOOD

I also gave Charlie a little of this- since she has now started eating baby food!
BRADY
The reason Charlie got to pop in was that Brady needed his shots. Charlie's dad is an awesome vet not only making house calls for Brady but also bringing Charlie and Maggie for us to play with too!
BREAKFAST
After the Lee's went on about their road trip, Kate and I went out to Breakfast at Waffle House.
BRIDE
Then the bride and I went to see a possible venue for her wedding. Here is a super cool pic that I wish I had been taken without the flash!!

BIRTHDAYS
Mr. D. and I went to two birthdays today. I forgot to snap a picture at the first because I was too busy stuffing my face with my favorite thing in the world--- CAKE! I asked the birthday girl's Mom to send a pic- so maybe I can add one later.
Here is a pic of Birthday girl number two.
Yes! It's my sweet Alice. I can't believe that she is 5 years old.
BLOOMS
After Alice's party, Mr. D. and I window shopped at a local nursery. The blooms were beautiful! I just love Spring!
