button books
Buttons are very special in my family. So, when I saw these button books at my school's book fair I decided it was time to introduce a love of buttons to the next generation of girls. They loved them!

95% of November in just one post!
In an effort to catch up my blog, I am going to post 95% of November in this post. Here is goes:
GYMBOREE
Shelbs continues to love love love the Gymboree. I always say it is "her" place. She enjoys every second.
Shelby went for her 15 month check up in November. She is 31 inches long and weighs 23 lbs. She did not enjoy their trying to measure her so I suspect the length measurement is a little on the short side.
MOVEMBER:
In memory of my good friend Russell, his brother Steven ( whom I am so please to be good friends with now!) participated in MOvember. He grew a moustache and raise money for men related cancers. Shelby is his biggest fan and we did a couple of things to support his plight. Here is a super fun pic of Shelby sporting her Mo (in her Mo-veralls).
Here she is writing him a card... which took pretty much a million days to get to him (or a week).
Here is a photo of Steven with his month long MO growth.
And here is his clean face after the shave.
Wanna know something else??? Steven is GETTING MARRIED!!! He proposed to Rachel at the Chuck E. Cheese and she said yes!!!! They are the world's CUTEST couple!!
CRAFT PROJECT:

and that was October
Enough is enough. It is almost December and I am still in October in back blog. So, here is the rest of October- in fast forward to get us into November.
Mr. D. bought this cute jar for me. I was going to make a new snack mix every couple of weeks and post the recipe on my blog. PLEASE STOP LAUGHING.... nah- go ahead, it is pretty much hysterical to think I would have time to do that. OK- so here was my first mix. But, by now I can't remember where I got the recipe and it wasn't all that good anyway. So, disregard.
Here is a cute decoration that I had out- it was Shelby last year around Halloween time. Precious!
We had a crazy week where all of Shelby's three Fairy Grandmother had to come and take a turn spending the day with her so Mama could work and Hanny the Nanny could be off too. Of course, I didn't take a picture of My Mom and Shelby (oops). Here is Becky (Mr. D.'s step mom) and Shelby.
Here is Linda (Mr. D.'s Mom) and Shelby.
We went to Gymboree..........
Mr. D. built Shelby climber that she got last Christmas.....
In the living room where it still remains to this day.
We went to the fall festival at CMS. Here is Shelby and her cupcake (Kate).
I just LOVE this fabulous outfit!
For Halloween Shelby was a ladybug.
This little guy is my new neighbor Andrew. He moved into the Lovell house next door.
And of course, Avi, Ki, Shelby, Noel and Bethany
I was a witch. This is Audrey--- she was my inspiration in my outfit.
Shelby loved playing in my tutu.
and this was my broom.
But.... instead of making one big tutu-- I made 5 smaller tutus, and tied them with ribbons and bows......
And after trick of treating.. untied the bows and gave out the goodies to my guest....
Before the end of Trick or Treating... Eden and Alice stopped by!
This was Shelby's sweet little trick of treat bag.
