The Blue Hat

The best impromptu beach vacation EVER!

In November we took an impromptu weekend trip to the beach. It happened to fall on the weekend of Mr. D.'s birthday!  Little did I know at the time that it would literally be the best beach vacation that we have ever had.  We decided that this is going to be the site of our annual beach trip for years to come.  We had the beach to ourselves the whole time. We loved every minute we were there and hated leaving.  I am glad we got away because life has been over scheduled and on fast forward every second since.  Enjoy the photos.

One day, when Shelby is older and reads this blog she will probably wonder why I didn't post her most fabulous Halloween costume to date....... So, here you go:

Your Presence Is Heaven To Me

At Church we sing a song is titled "Your Presence Is Heaven To Me"

While I know the song is about something totally different, I was thinking about who in my earth feels like actual heaven to be with.    It didn't take long to realize the answer to that question falls very close to my heart.  They are of course the children in my life.  Being with them feels like Heaven to me! I present to you my Nephews, Nieces and Child in no particular order!  I can't wait to meet any more that happen to come along!
