from the cutting room floor

Here is a little stack of pictures that didn't make the cut for Shelby's first Christmas card- but that are cute none-the-less. I wanted to share them with you. Being only 4 months old, there aren't many poses that we could do- but we tried.

Some readers may recognize this hat........
We have it on loan from Henry-baby!
Shelby is so lucky to have sweet cousins who want to share their special things with her. We have really put the hat to use while it was our turn. I will post the picture that won out above all of the others closer to Christmas! Enjoy the pictures.

Can't get enough??? Check out Meredith's post here. Enjoy! Comments are welcome!

something exciting has arrived!!

One of Shelby's gifts arrived last week. It's so exciting to think we are about to move into the next phase of babyhood! It's still in the box right now but I just know it will be fabulous!

cutest little girl in the SEC

This past weekend we met our friend Russell in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Here are some pictures of Shelby in her Gamecock attire. Here are two pictures I took with my cellphone... ie.. not good quality, but DON'T WORRY- the cuteness still shines through.
This is at the Fanfare. We had a great time there. After Fanfare Russell and Mr. D. went to the game and Shelby and I walked back to the hotel where Russell was staying. In his room there was a FABULOUS couch. I snapped this on that couch.
I made the tutu when we were on vacation in October. After these pictures I found the real camera and snapped the following.
Shelby wasn't too broken up that her team didn't win- she was more about the fashion than the game!

up on the rooftop

Are you wondering why Shelby looks so perplexed????

She couldn't figure out what her daddy was doing on the roof....

ahhhh......the fruits of his labor.....
